Siemens Teamcenter Product Cost Management logo

Siemens Teamcenter Product Cost Management

Read-only access to the Siemens Teamcenter Product Cost Management (TcPCM) Gateway API. This is the separate product-costing API surface, not general Teamcenter PLM, BOM/revision/change management, CAD access, Windchill, or plant/OT control. A customer-provisioned TcPCM server, API client, user permissions, and network route are required.

What Telara does

Capability matrix

Before you connect

Prerequisites

A customer-provisioned TcPCM server with the Gateway API enabled and reachable from Telara.
A server administrator who can create an API client and grant the account Manage REST-API permission.
A least-privilege TcPCM or Windows account with access to the intended product-costing projects and reports.

Vendor setup

Get the credential

1
Configure the TcPCM API client
On the TcPCM server, configure the API client ID and secret and confirm the instance root URL. The public Teamcenter X UI trial does not establish an API-enabled TcPCM server or credentials.
2
Grant read access
Grant the account Manage REST-API permission and only the project and profitability-report access needed. The password-grant bearer token carries that account's permissions.
3
Configure the connection
In Telara's TcPCM integration settings, enter the server root URL, API client ID and secret, and the least-privilege account username and password. Validate first against a non-production server.

Connect in Telara

OAuth 2.0

TcPCM password-grant token exchange. The customer administrator must configure the API client ID and secret on the TcPCM server, grant the user Manage REST-API permission, and provide a least-privilege account. The server root is instance-specific. No Siemens-hosted free API tenant or credentials are implied.

In Telara, open Settings → Integrations, choose this connector, and click Connect. Telara sends you to the vendor to approve access, then returns you here. You do not create an OAuth app or paste a client secret.

Data handling

Permissions & data handling

Telara has not published a permission list for this connector yet. Treat the vendor consent screen as the source of truth until this page lists scopes.

This catalog entry does not declare extra semantic-search exclusions.

After connect

Verify it worked

This connector does not declare a credential probe yet. A saved connection means Telara stored the credential, not that the vendor accepted it.

Honesty

Known limitations

This definition is for Siemens Teamcenter Product Cost Management only; it is not general Teamcenter PLM, BOM/revision/change management, CAD access, or PTC Windchill.
Product and report resources require compatible TcPCM releases and server-side permissions. Export operations that require the PPC10029 license are not declared.
No free API-enabled TcPCM trial or live provider verification is currently available.
