Before you connect

Prerequisites

A Braze workspace you can administer.

A workspace admin who can create REST API keys under Settings.

Vendor setup

Get the credential

Open REST API keys

In Braze, go to Settings → APIs and Identifiers → REST API Keys (wording is API Keys on some dashboards).

Create a key

Click Create New API Key. Name it for Telara. Grant only the permissions this page lists from the catalog. Copy the key.

Paste in Telara

Settings → Integrations → Braze. Paste the REST API key and the REST endpoint host from that same Settings page (for example the rest.*.braze.com host), without https.

Braze REST API key with endpoint-specific permissions. Store the REST endpoint host in base_url without scheme, for example rest.iad-01.braze.com.

In Telara, open Settings → Integrations, choose this connector, and paste the key into the fields Telara shows.

Verify it worked

After you save, Telara runs a read-only check against the account. The integration shows as connected when that check succeeds.

Honesty

Known limitations

The dashboard URL is not the REST endpoint. Using the wrong host authenticates nowhere.

EU vs US clusters are different REST hosts. Copy the host Braze shows for this workspace.
