What Telara does

Capability matrix

Before you connect

Prerequisites

A Microsoft Fabric / Power BI tenant you can administer.
Power BI admin or a user who can consent for the tenant and open the workspaces Telara should see.

Vendor setup

Get the credential

1
Click Connect in Telara
Settings → Integrations → Power BI. Telara sends you to Microsoft. You do not register an Azure AD app unless the form asks you to reuse one.
2
Consent as admin
Sign in with a user who can consent. Approve the permissions this page lists. Pick the tenant if you belong to more than one.
3
Return to Telara
Microsoft redirects you back. Finish Connect under Settings → Integrations if it is not already marked connected.

Connect in Telara

OAuth 2.0

In Telara, open Settings → Integrations, choose this connector, and click Connect. Telara sends you to the vendor to approve access, then returns you here. You do not create an OAuth app or paste a client secret.

Permissions & data handling

Telara has not published a permission list for this connector yet. Treat the vendor consent screen as the source of truth until this page lists scopes.

Excluded from semantic search: Report, Dashboard, Dataset.

After connect

Verify it worked

After you save, Telara runs a read-only check against the account. The integration shows as connected when that check succeeds.

Honesty

Known limitations

Workspaces the authorizing user cannot open stay out of Telara.
Personal Microsoft accounts are not Power BI tenants.
