Admin who can create API keys under Settings.

Open API Keys
In SendGrid, go to Settings → API Keys.

Create a key
Click Create API Key. Name it for Telara. Grant the permissions this page lists from the catalog. Copy the key immediately — SendGrid shows it once. Keys start with SG.

Paste in Telara
Settings → Integrations → SendGrid. Paste the key into the field Telara shows.

SendGrid API key (starts with "SG."). Create one under Settings -> API Keys in the SendGrid dashboard, scoped to at least Mail Send + Suppressions (read) + Template Engine (read) + Stats (read) for the tools in this connector.

In Telara, open Settings → Integrations, choose this connector, and paste the key into the fields Telara shows.
