What Telara does

Capability matrix

Before you connect

Prerequisites

A cluster Telara can reach, and permission to create a service account on it.
Prefer a dedicated namespace for the Telara identity.

Vendor setup

Get the credential

1
Create a service account
Create a service account Telara will use. Bind it only to the objects this tenant should see — do not reuse an admin login.
2
Issue the credential
Export a kubeconfig for that service account, or a token plus the API server URL. Either form is valid; Telara shows both fields.
3
Paste in Telara
Settings → Integrations → Kubernetes. Paste the kubeconfig, or the token and server URL.

Data handling

Permissions & data handling

Telara has not published a permission list for this connector yet. Treat the vendor consent screen as the source of truth until this page lists scopes.

Excluded from semantic search: Workload.

After connect

Verify it worked

After you save, Telara runs a read-only check against the account. The integration shows as connected when that check succeeds.

Honesty

Known limitations

Telara only sees what the service account can list. An empty view is usually RBAC, not a Telara outage.
Private clusters need a path Telara can reach (public API, private link, or similar). A kubeconfig that only works on your laptop will fail here.
