Before you connect

Prerequisites

A Basecamp 3 account (basecamp.com) you can administer.
An owner or admin who can approve connected apps for that account.

Vendor setup

Get the credential

Click Connect in Telara
Settings → Integrations → Basecamp. Telara sends you to Basecamp. You do not create a 37signals OAuth app or set a redirect URI.

Approve access
Sign in and click Yes, I’ll allow access on the Basecamp consent screen. Pick the account if you belong to more than one.

Return to Telara
Basecamp redirects you back. Finish Connect under Settings → Integrations if it is not already marked connected.

In Telara, open Settings → Integrations, choose this connector, and click Connect. Telara sends you to the vendor to approve access, then returns you here. You do not create an OAuth app or paste a client secret.

This connector does not declare a credential probe yet. A saved connection means Telara stored the credential, not that the vendor accepted it.

Basecamp 2 and classic campfire are not this connector.
Projects the authorizing user cannot open stay out of Telara.
