A Brex account you can administer.
Admin who can open Settings → Developer.

Get the credential

Open Developer tokens
In Brex, go to Settings → Developer → User Tokens.

Create a user token
Click Create. Name it for Telara. Grant the permissions this page lists from the catalog. Copy the token once.

Paste in Telara
Settings → Integrations → Brex. Paste the user token. Do not register a partner OAuth app unless Telara’s form explicitly asks for one.

API key

Brex API user token from Settings > Developer > User Tokens. Scopes required vary by endpoint: expenses:read, expenses:write, transactions:read, team:read, budgets:read.

In Telara, open Settings → Integrations, choose this connector, and paste the key into the fields Telara shows.

Brex OAuth for partner apps. Use api_key for single-tenant internal automation.

In Telara, open Settings → Integrations, choose this connector, and click Connect. Telara sends you to the vendor to approve access, then returns you here. You do not create an OAuth app or paste a client secret.

Verify it worked

After you save, Telara runs a read-only check against the account. The integration shows as connected when that check succeeds.

Honesty

Known limitations

Sandbox and production Brex accounts are different tokens.
A token missing spend/read permissions connects and then shows no expenses.
